About

Auremont Funds Management

The Manager of the programme, formed to apply one credit standard across loans originated by specialist lenders nationally.

01
The firm

What Auremont is, and is not

Auremont Funds Management Pty Ltd is the Manager. It directs investment under the Investment Policy, applies the credit standard to every loan, and instructs the Appointed Trustee.

Auremont does not lend as principal and is not the lender of record. It does not hold investor money, and it does not hold the security for any loan. Those roles sit with the Appointed Trustee and the Security Trustee, which is the point of the separation set out at Governance.

Auremont operates as Corporate Authorised Representative of Stone Leaf Capital Securities Ltd, which holds Australian Financial Services Licence 549617.

02
Why it was formed

A standard, not another lender

The Australian private commercial mortgage market does not lack origination. It lacks a common standard behind it.

Auremont was formed to supply that standard, and to make it portable across lenders who already know their own markets. The firm adds nothing to origination that the specialist lenders do not already do better. What it adds is one consistent credit decision, one structure, and one set of disclosures for the investor.
